Request a Free Copy of Your Consumer Report (Motor Vehicle History)

Before you can obtain a free copy of the information Explore Information Services, LLC® provided to your insurance company, we must first verify your identity by having you complete a Disclosure Request Form. This disclosure form needs to be filled out and signed by all members of your household that you would like to receive a report on. We require this information so that we can accurately process your report request, and to ensure your privacy. This information is provided to you under the guidelines of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Q: How do I obtain a copy of my credit report?
A: Explore does not receive, store, or provide financial credit information. We do not provide credit reports. You may wish to inquire with your insurance company as to other companies which may have provided them information.

Q: Don’t you need my permission to provide information about me to my insurance company?
A: When you applied for insurance, you gave the insurance company permission to access information necessary to determine your insurability. Your insurance company may obtain this information from an insurance support organization such as Explore (Click here for more information Explore Information Services ). The FCRA entitles you to a free copy of reports provided to your insurance company and all other relevant information in your file.

Q: Why was my insurance premium increased or my policy cancelled?
A: Only your insurance company representative can answer that question. Explore is an information provider only and does not make any decisions regarding your policy.
